Bishop’s Move are one of a select number of removal companies to become directly authorised by the FSA for the purpose of insurance mediation activity. This means you have complete peace of mind, knowing that in the unlikely event that anything should go wrong, your effects are fully covered by a comprehensive policy on which you can claim.
Whether you’re moving 100 yards down the road or to the other side of the world, Bishop’s Move customers’ do so safe in the knowledge that their possessions will be in the most capable hands. In the unlikely event that a claim has to be made, it will be dealt with efficiently and professionally.
We’re also unique among removal companies in having installed tracking devices in all our vehicles, providing the ultimate deterrent to thieves, and enabling the location of our customers’ belongings to be pinpointed.
The vast majority of removals companies aren’t FSA authorised and regulated and have to rely on their own standard or extended liability insurance, against which they can make a claim should the worst happen. This insurance covers the removers and not the customer, so if something does go wrong, the customer may have to pursue a potentially costly and time intensive legal action against their removers in order to be compensated.
