10th October 2011
October 10th sees the start of Bishop's Move partnership with the charity Scope.
We are supporting Scope in offering householders moving with Bishop's Move's a new 'De-clutter Service'. Any of the following items - Clothes, Shoes, Boots, Bags, Costume Jewellery, Handbags, Belts, Books, CD’s, DVD’s, Mobile Phones, Bric-a-Brac, Small Electrical Items that customers have, but do not want to take to their new home can be donated directly to Scope.
· Bishop’s Move will supply customers with a number of Scope Charity Donation Sacks before they move so they can place any of the above items they don’t want to take with them in the sacks.
· On the day of the move, customers can give the filled sacks to the Bishop’s Move staff who will then place them to one side in the removal van and take back to the depot ready for Scope to collect.
· If you don’t have enough Scope Charity Donation Sacks; don’t worry a supply is kept on the removal van. Just ask the Bishop’s Move staff for some extras.
100% of all customer donations will go directly to Scope. It’s as simple as that!
The money raised from the sale of Bishp's Move customer donations will go towards helping Scope to create a world where disabled people have the same opportunities to fulfil their life ambitions as non-disabled people. Scope work's alongside disabled adults and children, and their families, to offer information, advice, support and care that leads to greater freedom of choice and personal control
